Every fire plan should include an escape plan for unexpected nearby fires, or a plan for when it’s ‘too late to leave’.

Resilient Australians Fire Escape Kits are designed to assist should you ever be unexpectedly be impacted by fire and need to escape. These kits do not provide protection from fire, but will assist with the smoke, heat and embers you may experience when escaping from a fire.

What’s in a Fire Escape Kit?
Our Fire Escape Kit comes in a Resilient Australians custom-made, rescue-orange bag with waterproof zips and a transparent lid. It features durable webbing handles and tamperproof, numbered zip ties to seal the kit - providing peace of mind that nothing vital has been removed.
Inside the lid, you’ll find a quick-start instruction card with advice on setup, use, and replenishment of items.
This kit contains 196 components, designed to help keep you safe if you are unexpectedly caught in a fire or fire zone.
Kit Contents:
Personal Protection Woollen Blanket (vacuum packed) - 95% wool and 5% fire-retardant synthetic, 167 cm x 213 cm - this blanket can wrap around 2 people
2 x pairs of tough leather gloves to protect your hands
2 x disposable smoke respirator hoods - provide up to 30 minutes of over 95% smoke filtration. These hoods are not fireproof and should be used in conjunction with the personal protection blanket. Our Respirators are certified with most current CE certification: EN403:2004
185-piece burns first aid kit - contains essential first aid items plus gel burn dressings to assist in the treatment of burns
3 x tamperproof zip ties to ensure you know your kit is always ready to use
2 x bottles of water for rehydration or first-aid use
Emergency whistle to attract the attention of rescuers
