Emergency Kit Information
Our Emergency Kit is carefully designed to support a household that has been isolated at home without access to services such as power, gas and water for up to 3 days.
The kit is designed to supplement items you will likely have at home to support your household while you are isolated.
This Emergency Kit is also stocked with items to assist in the event that you need to leave your home unexpectedly such as an evacuation during a natural disaster.
The Emergency Kit is a custom made rescue-orange bag with waterproof zips and a transparent lid. It has strong webbing handles on all sides. It comes with tamper-proof, numbered zip ties to seal the kit and provide peace of mind that necessary items have not been removed unexpectedly. In the lid of the Kit is an instruction card to provide advice on set up and customisation to your households needs, as well and details for replenishing used items. There is a Manual in the Kit to explain what to do and how to use the kit in a number of common Australian emergency situations.
Emergency Manual
Our Emergency Kit includes an Emergency Manual prepared by local specialists with advice for large-scale emergency events and disasters in Australia.
It also contains important information for your household should you ever need to leave or evacuate in an emergency, and how to use items in the Emergency Kit for assistance.
We have a system that’s explained in our Emergency Manual to prepare, survive and recover from common Australian emergencies.
An Emergency Kit will provide support
for 8 important aspects of your households needs:
You will notice our Emergency Kit does not contain fishing hooks, hunting knives or fire starters. These are not things recommended by Emergency Service providers for Australian households. Our kits are designed to support you at home or during an evacuation with items to keep your family cared for, connected and safe.

Our Emergency Kit comes with detailed instructions relating to customising your kit for your household. Infants and pets will need special consideration and additional items can be placed in your kit to meet your households specific needs.
Our kit caters for a household of 2 people as standard. You can purchase add-on packs with your kit to cater for additional people to ensure that everyone in your household is accommodated.
Add-on packs include additional toiletries, a bath towel, poncho and water container.
Food Rations:
Food rations can also be purchased with your kit in quantities to support the number of people in your household. To keep the Kit as affordable as possible, we have not included food rations as standard as many households will routinely have enough food to cater for the needs of 3 days. If you live in an area where there’s a risk of evacuation, we advise adding food rations to your Emergency Kit.
